How to Print a Photo on Clear Paper
- 1). Place the clear sticker paper into the printer. Clear sticker paper is available at office supply stores such as Office Depot. As of December 2009, a box of three sheets of Avery sticker paper had a suggested retail price of $6.60.
- 2). Print out your print job onto the stickers, one sheet at a time. Use the "Print sticker" option on your publishing software if one is available. Promptly remove each sheet from the printer before printing out another sheet.
- 3). Leave to dry for 10 minutes before handling the surface (this includes stacking on top of each other).
- 1). Check your transparency sheets to make sure that they are compatible with your printer. Some sheets need to be printed on photocopiers or thermal printers while others can be printed on inkjets. This information can usually be found on top of the transparency box. However, if you do not have the transparency box, check your printer's user manual to make sure it can handle transparencies. As of December 2009, a box of transparency paper with 100 sheets had a retail price of $30. Transparency sheets are available at office supply stores such as Office Depot.
- 2). Place one sheet of transparency paper into the printer. Some transparencies are susceptible to jamming: feeding one sheet at a time may avoid this.
- 3). Select "Transparency" if your print program allows you an option to choose the paper type.
- 4). Print your photograph out onto the transparency sheet.
